My name is Delaina. My husband passed 4 years ago, however, I remember him talking about his passion for cycling and Ironman stories. He lived in Santa Barbara in the mid-80's and trained there. I guess I was just putting feelers out to see if anyone recognized his name. Jeff Fredrick. He was also a chef in the Santa Barbara area at that time as well. We didn't make it there together but in some of his writings, he mentioned his top two most beautiful sights as being 1) my eyes and 2) Goleta Beach. I MUST make it there some day. If anyone remembers Jeff, I would love to hear from you.
